(Chinese Section)
The Chinese Speaking Section organises activities or workshops combined with both Indonesian and Chinese cultures. Whether you have just arrived in Jakarta or have been living here for many years, we will discover and experience this beautiful country together, and learn more about the Indonesian heritage.
Workshop:
The Ketupat Meets Zongzi workshop on 21/05/2022 in Jakarta. Teacher Maya teaches us how to make traditional Indonesian Ketupat
Coffee Morning:
On the 7th of October 2022, the Chinese Speaking Section of IHS had a coffee morning. We discussed the new workshops and events, exchanged ideas, and selected the most interesting activity to host. The activities in the following months are fixed, and we will be focusing on activities for both kids and parents.
Museum Tours:
The museum tour for Kids organised by the Chinese section on the 18th of October was a big success. We learned a lot from this tour and the kids were very enthusiastic. Thanks to Simran (a Friend of IHS and National Museum Guide Volunteer) to be our guide. We will definitely come to visit again.
