The Indonesian Heritage Society offers popular English-language Evening Lectures once a month from September to May. Evening Lectures are one of the oldest activities of the society. The first lecture was in September 1973. Over 400 lectures, exploring Indonesia’s culture and contemporary issues, have been organized since!
Due to COVID-19 and social distance measurements, the lectures are held online now. We have successfully hosted multiple Evening Lectures on Zoom now, with varied speakers and big audiences, Registration prior to the event is needed. The online lecture is free for members. For non-members, an entrance donation of IDR. 50,000 (IDR. 30,000 for students with a valid student ID) is requested.
All lectures start at 7:00 p.m. Normally, the location is the Auditorium of Erasmus Huis (within the Dutch Embassy Compound): Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said Kav. S-3, Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan. We hope to return there soon when social distancing is not needed anymore. Stay safe and healthy!”
